Insights from Experience: Elevating Utilities through the New IBNET Data Partnership

This webinar is hosted by the World Bank Group on Water, introducing you to the new International Benchmarking Network (IBNET) for Water and Sanitation Utilities.

Utilities and other water and sanitation service providers are at the forefront of action to address the worsening global water crisis.  While there has been some progress in ensuring affordable and safely managed water is available to people around the world, utilities struggle to keep up as the challenges to their organisations are mounting, driven by population growth, climate change, and simple but hard-to-tackle infrastructure gaps.  Where to get started? When to know that actual progress has been made? This is where the NewIBNET partnership comes in – as a data partnership allowing utilities to compare their performance as well as management practices.

Join us and meet change leaders from water & sanitation utilities from around the world and hear why they decided to join the NewIBNET partnership and how the NewIBNET-facilitated self-assessment and comparisons – on performance and management practices – help them drive their own organisation’s performance.

Participants ideally should be:

  • Familiar with water and sanitation utilities and the management challenges they face
  • IT-curious, keen to use web-based resources, enjoying data and comparisons.
